Find DVDs on the 2nd floor of the Harvey Library

Finding Foreign Language Films

To find films in a foriegn language:

  • Use the Advanced Search in the library's catalog
  • Filter your search by language
  • Filter your search by format

Select the language in the "language" field

french.language

Select "Audiovisual Material" in the format field

Classic Films

Why can't I find some classic foreign films?

  • American DVD players only play Region 1/ NTSC discs
  • Some classic foreign films have not been re-released in the Region 1 or NTSC format
  • The Harvey Library does not have films in foreign video formats
