Carl Friedrich Gauss
(1777 – 1855) "The Prince of Mathematics" - German mathematician, generally regarded as one of the greatest mathematicians of all time for his contributions to number theory, geometry, probability theory, geodesy, planetary astronomy, the theory of functions, and potential theory including electromagnetism.

Pythagoras of Samos - (570 - 495 BC) - often revered as a great mathematician, mystic and scientist, but he is best known for the Pythagorean theorem which bears his name.
Leonard Euler - Swiss mathematician (1701 - 1783) - He also introduced much of the modern mathematical terminology and notation, particularly for mathematical analysis, such as the notion of a mathematical function. He is also renowned for his work in mechanics, fluid dynamics, optics, and astronomy.
