Dr. Ben Carson
Retired neurosurgeon credited with being the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the head. Carson was a professor of neurosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery, and pediatrics, and he was the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
